    Your steel sculpture is a handcrafted, limited-edition artwork designed to last a lifetime. To preserve its beauty and structure, please follow these simple care guidelines:

    General Care

    • Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth or feather duster to keep the surface clean.

    • Avoid moisture or high humidity, especially in unventilated spaces. While the steel is treated, long-term exposure to moisture may lead to tarnishing or surface oxidation.

    • Do not use water, glass cleaner, or abrasive sprays on the sculpture, especially between the nuts where residue can collect.

    Handling

    • Always handle your sculpture with clean, dry hands or use gloves to avoid transferring oils to the metal.

    • Lift the sculpture from its base or structural frame rather than applying pressure to the body area, which could loosen individual nuts over time.

    Placement

    • Keep your sculpture indoors, away from direct sunlight and damp environments.

    • Avoid placing near heaters or air-conditioners, as constant temperature fluctuations can affect the steel over many years.

    • Use a stable, level surface to prevent accidental tipping.

    Polishing & Finish

    • If your sculpture has a clear-coated or polished finish, it may develop a natural patina over time. This adds character, but if preferred, you may gently polish with a microfibre cloth or consult us for recommended products.

    • Do not attempt to repaint or apply coatings unless advised by our team, as this may affect the integrity of the work.

    Long-Term Preservation

    • For collectors or galleries: maintain a controlled indoor environment and avoid excessive touching.

    • For sculptures stored in crates or boxes: wrap in acid-free tissue and avoid bubble wrap directly against the metal to prevent trapping moisture.
